A series of display of skill and performance from a number of Al Badia Golf Club members guaranteed an interesting day’s play during the Member’s Stableford Competition.
Christian Koch provided an exceptional performance as he finished his round with 41 points, crowning him as the overall winner of the competition. This 20 handicapper had an impressive two 4 points score in the 2 holes and a par on the treacherous 5th hole.
Chet Riley and Mike Groves battled for the A Division main title, both scoring 34 points, and after a countback Chet has snatched the title. Mike Groves had a well received front 9, but his bogey on a back nine made him lose the chance to beat Chet riley.
Phil Evans put his newly acquired R11 driver to the test and placed him as the runner up in the B division after, scoring 37 points. Sharon Moore had a steady start to her round and finishing strong in her last 4 holes securing herself 12 more points and victory for the B division.
David Hadley has driven the best shot of the day by 293 yards on hole 13 securing himself the longest drive title while Adam Gray made a nearest the pin shot by 8 feet on hole 11.
