Michael Harradine was at his consistent best to win best gross and net in the second edition of the BMW – Rivoli Monthly Medal. The scratch golfer fired a gross 74, over the Faldo course.
Harradine carded a one over par 74; he started with 8 straight pars and then dropped a shot at the 355-yard par four ninth. He immediately made amends with a birdie on the 10th, a further bogey on the 12th resulted in his one over par tally. His net 74 earned him top prize in Division A (handicap 0-10). Rohit Gupta also carded a 74 but had to settle for runners-up place after a card count back with Lionel Smith a further shot back in third.
Division B (handicap 11-20) was keenly contested with Peter Mackenzie signing for a three under par 70 to steel top prize by two shots from Naveed Kamal, with Brian Edwards in third after a 74.
Prem Amarnani clinched Division C (handicap 21-34) with an excellent two under par 71.
BMW and Rivoli have teamed up to sponsor the twenty two Monthly Medals across both Emirates Golf Club and Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.
